Why: The company uses an innovative online platform of crowd-sourcing to connect talented fine jewellery designers from around the world with jewellery lovers in search of creative and original pieces. Noura Sakkijha, President and Co-Founder of Mejuri, “Every design has a story that makes customers connect with the products. Some of our designers have their own brands and are award winning designers and some of our designers are just starting out their lines.” Independent jewellery designers from around the world submit their designs in 3D renders or sketch form to Mejuri for consideration. Approximately 200 designs have already been submitted on Mejuri’s platform since their launch and over 550 designers from over 31 countries around the world have registered on the site. The online customer community comments and votes on their favorite pieces which are manufactured by Mejuri.
