The shOws: COMRAGS & Jean Pierre Braganza

COMRAGS

Toronto’s prep for World MasterCard Fashion Week? That would be the shOws! This year the opener was the fashion label, Comrags. Comrags presented overcoats, dresses in solids and prints, and even a olive green jumpsuit! We loved the dark overcoats. The choices in fabric were lovely, although we wish Comrags went a bit brighter with their choices. Yes, it is a Fall Winter line, but why not punch up the orange and blues against the black? Adds more contrast and drama! Either way, Comrags opened with a wearable collection that would make the working woman swoon. Check out some images from Comrags show below!

Jean Pierre Braganza

Jean Pierre did it again! His collection made you want to look closer and investigate HOW he did it. Art meets fashion at its finest. Models were fitted with the hair style of a Samurai, marching down the runway in tailored, flowing dresses, blazers and pants. We were lucky to be seated right in front of JP’s interview where he showed how one blazer could be zipped into a different look! His collection was like a fantasy! Is it totally wearable? Depends. Alter the look for average height women and it would work for the office! Yes, I said ‘the office’. The collection was well thought and vast in fabrics, which made for an inspiring presentation. Check out our fav looks below!
