ELLE Hardware: Spring In Style!
Spring is the time of renewal! We highly suggest using the warmer to purge the closets and drawers, and start collecting again. For some rare, fun finds, why not venture to Toronto’s edgy Queen Street West and check out the accessory store Elle Hardware. The funky location owned by Lindsay MacMillan and her fashion designer sister, Hilary MacMillan, offers new finds weekly, carrying 130 brands. The open concept accessory store has a great range in prices with an interactive staff. The sisters travel monthly to find fresh, bold and simple pieces for their customers. On Queen Street West since November 2010, Lindsay says the community here is inspiring.
“You have more risk takers here in the Queen Street community. Buyers are patient and they want unique pieces. Details matter, so they love great merchandising,” Lindsay says.
We asked Lindsay what she has learned about business ownership since owning Elle Hardware, and she made a great point. “Its important to trust the right people to help build your business.”
Check out Elle Hardware as they showcased Erin Tracy Jewelry and Dear Frankie Swim-wear and Lingerie.
