So, Have You Seen What Jared Leto’s Been Wearing on Stage Lately?

If you are told over and over again that you resemble a person, do you subconsciously take on the traits of that person? Or do you take it as an opportunity to have some fun and purposely take on the traits of that person?

I’m talking about Jared Leto right now. Have you seen what he’s been wearing on Stage Lately?

The Internet’s boyfriend gave up on shaving after his successful award season run. I get it, he was hairless and clean shaven for a long time, bringing Dallas Buyer’s Club transsexual character Rayon to life. The man wanted to give his face a break. But, the more his beard and hair grew, the more he started to resemble one of the most important figures of time, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Not Yeezus, but Jesus.

You cannot deny the resemblance between the historical portraits of Jesus and hottie Jared. Haven’t you seen those adorable Instagram photos of Jared Leto with Faux Jesus? Cute right?

It was truly cute, until I saw this.

Yes, that is Jared Leto on tour overseas and in the U.S. with 30 Seconds To Mars . I need to know who designed these costumes, but regardless of the designer, what is this exactly? I call it New-Age Modern RockStar Jesus meets Raffi. If you are a Jared Leto supporter, you will know that Jared is not afraid of the Man Skirt, the 1980’s hair do’s or the bed-slippers out in public look. He’s an artist and he doesn’t need to clock in at the office every day, but I can’t help but wonder if WE have created a little monster who entertains the Jesus thing.

Kanye ‘Yeezus’ West has nothing on Jared when it comes to emulating the son of God. Mr. Leto has the entire look down. And he’s so damn likeable and cute too.

I’m so captivated with this look that I’d go to the concert JUST to see the wardrobe racks.

All hail Jesus-Chic.

Ah Jared, Father Jesus must be proud to know that his fashion sense still charms the world today. I have to wonder what will happen once Jared gets too itchy and shaves it all off? Will we all stay on the bandwagon?
