Discover Boating Canada: Fall On The Water
I wouldn’t consider us to be ‘Boaters‘. We like to have a nice cocktail on a anchored yacht, but that wouldn’t make us boaters now would it?
Regardless of that, Discover Boating Canada (an awareness effort to increase boating lifestyle) invited us to lunch on the water on a windy day at the Ashbridge Bay Yacht Club. Not only was the company fabulous, but lunch, provided by Food Dudes, was delicious.
While sailing on Lake Ontario, we learned that boating is replacing the traditional cottage purchase because it is so much more affordable. Families and Friends are partnering up and buying boats together. For around $40,000, you can own a floating home!
It didn’t take much time for us to feel at home on the water. In fact, after a leisurely trip for lunch, we hopped on the speed boat for some waves and speed! It was so much fun! Now, we want to do more boating. Imagine that.
Telly in her Nautical Look about to take to the waters
My nautical look consisted of a heavy knit sweater. Good choice because it was cool and windy on the water.
Food Dudes provided such a yummy lunch. I had Salmon.
Everything is better with desert. Check out my Smore Cookie.
