Seriously, Why is Seriously Cool Wine so Seriously Delish?
You must be sure and confident when you decide to call your latest wine Seriously Cool Wine (by Southbrook). Sure the label is cool, and the entry-level drinker price is way cool, but is there any substance here? How does the Ontario wine taste?
We received two bottles of Seriously Cool, the 2016 Chardonnay and the 2013 Red. The Chardonnay was the perfect wine for the general white wine lover, especially at this time of year when people want bright, crisp and fresh tasting wine. This wine went down smoothly and was a joy to drink. Pair this with fish to really bring out the flavor because the sweetness will really bring out the savory taste in your meal.

The Red wine is the extreme opposite! The flavor of this red wine carries weight. It’s warm and radiates warmth when you take the first sip. The wine consists of smokey flavors of Raspberry, Blackberry and Cherry, so the aroma is strong. Think of the steak dinners you plan on a nice fall day! The perfect pairing.
Out of the two bottles, we enjoyed the Chardonnay most, only because we are white wine drinkers. For the price of $16.00 you truly gain a tasty experience with Seriously Cool Wine. Rosé is now available in the Seriously Cool family and we’ve had a tasting…it’s delicious. Pick up your bottles at your local LCBO, Toronto.
