BESTIVAL Toronto: Music Fest Highlights!
Coming from across the pond, The United Kingdom’s Festival BESTIVAL has landed in Toronto again, bringing Peace, Love, Joy and good freakin’ music. What makes this two-day Festival unique is its location. The festival is held on Toronto Island, so you have to boat over to enjoy the musical fun. Even with our VIP access waiting on the boats could be a tad annoying, but the weather was perfect, so we made the best of it. Highlight performers would probably be Florence and The Machine, Banks and NAS. Other than music, the Festival offered a Costume Parade, a Bollywood inspired stage for the House and EDM fans, a Big Top Tent for partying in the shade and the main stage. The rainy days we had prior made for some nice muddy spots so combat boots and rain boots were on full display. If you haven’t gone to this festival before, I would highly suggest checking it out next year. Its an excuse to wear ANYTHING you want and party in a casual setting, meet new people and dance like no one is watching.
PERRIER Water Green House. Once of the coolest attractions in the BESTIVAL grounds.
Alessia Cara’s Here, is such a stellar track.
BACARDI’s BIG TOP stage was constantly packed for sweet EDM and dance tunes.
The BOLLYWOOD stage was a sight to see! Inspired by the Colossal Temple, the bright, animated, stage with lights, lasers, and hot DJ’s.
