Her Closet: Lily Collins

Her father, Phil Collins, made us move and grove in the 1980’s and 90s with Genesis and with his solo career. He also made a major hits with Disney films! Taking over in a big way like her Dad, Lily Collins is making waves in the fashion world being present in the front row of highly respected designers and showing off great taste in her fashion choices. Many of her looks are straight off the runway. Here are a few of our fav looks from the It Girl.

This is the perfect example of the dream spring time dress! We love the retro cut, the shoes and the lovely loose curl. Less is more with accessories here. A simple keep sake of a chain is perfect to top this look off.

This is how you take a conservative outfit and make it your own. No one wants to look like they are in uniform and with the simple action of adding a pop of color, you stand out! Black and white with a splash of pink is classy, spontaneous and fun! Fuchsia is a great colour to experiment with too!

Lily wore this stunning dress in 2009, but it stands out as one of our favorites for color, and the way cool graphic design. You can help but stare at the pattern which flatters the body. We LOVE that she paired this dress with black tights, carrying the look from head to toe. A simple ponytail, black ring and bracelet tie the look together. Even her nails are natural in color. Sometimes simplicity isn’t so bad!
