Fashion is repetitive. Major insiders will tell you different, but in an industry that depends heavily on fast fashion to keep brick and mortars open, the idea of creativity is frowned down upon. What keeps keeps Fashion fresh and alive is the introduction of cultures and traditions. One designer who turns heads due to this fact is Mani Jassal who’s artistic approach blends her South Asian heritage with her Canadian upbringing.
The collection features precious lace on raw silks, cotton, organza and chiffon. Embellishments included tulle, mirror decals, beading, glass tassels and sequins that made melodious sounds as the models walked the runway.
