Peplum: Fashion Trend
Peplum waistlines are really on trend this year. the retro style has been seen on everyone from Solange, Jennifer Hudson, Eva Mendes, and Kim Kardashian. I’m not too sure how I feel about peplum waistlines, personally, but they do help with women trying attain or define an hourglass figure. This probably won’t be a trend that I recommend every woman try but if you’re bold and feeling up it why not?!
Walking through the streets of Toronto, I haven’t really spotted anyone wearing the trend, so I can’t really comment on how it would look on the average person. But, because the peplum style has enough going on minimal make up and accessories would be best. I’ve taken note over the years and realized that with ‘in your face’ trends you don’t want to go overboard. Adding to so much dramatic style can make it seem as if you’re doing too much! So when your rocking the peplum waistline look keep it simple. Less is more.
