Trends for Spring Summer 2015 According to Toronto’s World MasterCard Fashion Week SS15

Never question why Bloggers, Fashion Editors, Stylists, Buyers and other Fashion industry folks head over to the Tents to see what is to come. By watching the runways, you can start to plot out what you and your clients will want to wear next Spring. Its like pre-shopping! Using Toronto’s World Mastercard Fashion Week as a reference, check our Trend findings of what you will want to grab from stores for your own closet!

1970s Glam
We applaud the designers who used the glamorous 1970s as a reference for their runway presentations. Wide legged pants, large floral prints, stripes, statement jump suits and beaded sheer remind us of the richness of rock and roll and disco! If you have wide legged pants from seasons ago, hang on to them for your spring evenings out.

After a winning season last Spring & Summer, White is still all the rage. Most of the collections this season featured a few white dresses and two pieces. It is east to tell that the LBD is now in competition with the LWD! See our favorites from this season.

Spring is all about new life and restoring! Green grass and beautiful flowers. What better color to wear than luxe Green! Personally, Green is one of our favorite colors! People don’t easily gravitate towards it, but it can do wonders for a wardrobe when paired with the colors of purple, pink and yellow.

Pastels took a back seat a few seasons ago while animal print and plaid stayed in the spotlight. Designers are showing us that the lighter, more delicate shades are coming back! We do enjoy pastels paired with neutrals such as beige and tan.

Menswear Inspired for The Ladies
What would women’s wear be without a bit of menswear inspiration! From the collared shirt dress to suit jackets, women can get that bold and structured look borrowing from Menswear staples.
