Musically Crushing: Lykke Li

Lykke Li just has one of those faces. You see her, and then you must know who she is and what she does. The Swedish singer/songwriter is not easily categorized. Lykke uses a mix of pop, indie rock and electronica to enhance the lyrics she writes. Since her debut in 2008 with Youth Novels, she picked up quite a following! Youth Novels was produced by Björn Yttling of Peter Bjorn and John fame. Late last year, Lykke appeared on David Letterman and Jay Leno to promote her latest album, Wounded Rhymes which has been praised by critics and fans alike. Her music is an elegant mix of all that is good, and she seems to follow the same idea when it comes to her fashion choices.

In 2009, Eviana Hartman saw that ‘something’ in Lykke Li and partnered with her to promote eco-friendly label, Bodkin. Although Lykke seems more of a vintage/ high fashion gal, she easily wore the simple, classic look Bodkin produced.
