SHAME! Country star Randy Travis charged with DWI

Not major fans of country music. We respect the song writing talent of country recording artists, like Randy Travis, 53, who has had a long standing music career. It was a shocker for us to find out that Travis has been charged with a DWI!

According to The Ottawa Citizen, Travis was charged with driving while intoxicated in North Texas. Apparently he drove his Pontiac Trans Am off the road and struck several barricades in a construction area. A 911 call was made at 11:18 p.m about a man lying in the middle of the road. It’s being reported that Travis was not wearing clothes at the time of his arrest and made threats against the Texas troopers. The singer refused sobriety tests, so a blood specimen was taken. Travis was released on $21,500 bond. This is his second arrest this year.
