Why should you care: Uptown Funk has been out for a while and we’ve been dancing to it so much that it dawned on us that we should make this our Musically Crushing for the month of December. Mark knows how to do his magic in the studio. He’s been around since 1993! Look at all the people he’s worked with (and that’s just to name a few) we’ve always been huge fans of Mark, we loved his work with Duran Duran’s last Album, ‘All you need is now’, the work he did with the truly missed Amy Winehouse’s Rehab, Back to Black & You know that I’m no good. If Mark and Bruno released this track a tad earlier, Pharell Williams’ Happy would’ve be at war with Uptown Funk. Its funky, its dance-able, it’s fun, its funk/pop heaven. The Funk and Disco era of the 1970’s would of been proud of this one. One of our favorite shorties, Bruno Mars; does not disappoint at all with the vocals. As for the music video, I wish Carcia and I were dancing with them in the street. I want Bruno’s pink jacket and Carcia wants his hat (the girl has a enormous hat collection). Lots of people are going to have a blast ringing in 2015 with this jam blasting. (we sure will)
