What We Saw: The presentation was the perfect mix of easy Beach Cool, mixed with Surfer music played LIVE while the models walked the runway. Each model had the Wet Hair look, which totally worked. The fabrics were free flowing, and some included safety pins, bringing a bit of edge to the beach.
Who: Pink Tartan
What We Saw: We like to call Pink Tartan the leader of Modern Lady-Like style. The show was filled with the trends you will crave for Spring and Summer. Models marched down the runway in white, neon, black and navy. 1960s square patterns, mid-length skirts in leather were favorites for us.
Who: David Dixon
What We Saw: David Dixon is probably one of our favorite Canadian designers. In fact, we will boldly say that if we could only wear one Canadian designer for a year, we would probably lean towards David Dixon. He is edgy with an underlining of classic. This season, the SS14 collection featured some of the most beautiful textiles of lace and shimmer to maxi lengths. Black and White will continue to lead the way for Spring and Summer to our delight.
