Musically Crushing: Stromae Live at TD Echo Beach

Name: Paul Van Haver (aka: Stromae @Stromae)

Origin: Etterbeek, Brussels, Belgium.

Why should you care: You’ve probably heard a lot about French singer/ songwriter, Stromae. His video for “Tous les Mêmes” is too cool and that was what made us fans. Thanks to TD Music, we saw him live at TD Echo Beach. Before Stromae came out the crowed was ready: Every age group was represented, meaning little kids to excited grandmothers. English and french accents filled the air as  the lights went down and the excitement went from 90% to 1000%. One by one band members came out and stood at there positions and then, there he was. Stromae was greeted with an enormous welcome. The show was electrifying! There was not a single person NOT dancing and I know this because we were dancing too. Stromae’s energy was high, and he kept everyone engaged with his witty humor (between songs he would have the crowd in stitches) and his entertaining dance moves.  The coolest thing was everyone sang the songs word for word in French. More proof that music is a universal language.  We encourage everyone to make sure to check Stromae out, he’s a force to be reckoned with in the music industry.
