Fall Beauty 2013 : Beauty Trends For The Workplace
September 21st marks the first day of Fall. Well we all get excited for new wardrobe choices it’s just as fun to switch up your beauty routine. Here are a few tips on how to incorporate this seasons hair and makeup trends into everyday wear for the workplace.
Skin:
With the cooler months approaching we can get away with a bit more coverage and Cream Compact Foundations have made a come back. Pair these with a highlighting pen to create some dimension in your face. Use it down the bridge of your nose, under eyes, on cheekbones, above lips (on the cupids bow) and in the center of your chin.

Cheeks:

Brows:
Fuller brows are in but make sure to keep them well groomed and fill in any spaces with a brow pencil or shadow so that they frame your face perfectly.
Eyes:
Graphic and jewel toned liners are all the rage this season. You can incorporate this trend into your everyday look by swapping those black and brown liners with a bronze or deep purple liner. Line your eyes with and soften with a matching eyeshadow overtop and you’re good to go.

Lips:
Berry and petal lip shades are in this time of year so ditch the bright summer colours and opt for something a bit more dramatic. Lip stains are being seen all over and are a great way to keep your colour lasting all day long without having to re-apply and worry about the dreaded “lipstick on your teeth” situation.

Hair:
This season is all about au-natural styles and nothing overly styled. Instead of the top knots and ballerina buns, hair has been taken down a few inches. Styles are now at the nape of the neck, low pony tails and effortless chignon’s.
Swap that centre part to a side one and if you’re feeling a big change is in order now’s the time, fringe is in!
Celebs like Kate Moss, Kerry Washington, Marion Cotillard have it down with the laid back take on hair do’s for Fall.
